MATTHEW BALDOCK LLB
Starting as an office junior in the Chelmsford branch of a national Estate Agency, Matt fell in love with the job instantly and began to work his way up through the ranks. He spent the next 10 years working predominantly as a Valuer for large corporate Estate Agency groups where he won numerous awards and accolades. In March 2012 Matt left the corporate world to become an owner of Charles David Casson. Matt says ‘I feel very lucky to be able to run my own business alongside my brother. I felt that corporate agency was heading in the wrong route for me, with targets being of more significance than the customers themselves. With Charles David Casson we are able to ensure that everything we do has our customers best interests at heart and that’s extremely important to me. People trust us to sell or let their biggest assets and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. I also love the fact that we get to work in the community we live in and deal with so many great people.”
Matt is married to Nicola with whom he has three boys, Freddie, Henry and Billy.
Born and bred in Chelmsford, Neil went to Tyrells and The Boswells School and still lives in Springfield. A former police officer, Neil is an excellent problem solver for our clients. Neil oversees the Lettings, Property Management and Maintenance portfolio here at CDC and is able to offer specialist advice on all aspects of buy to let and property investment in Chelmsford and all areas of Essex. Neil is happy to offer advice to landlords even where the property is not being purchased through our agency and would welcome an informal chat with you regarding your investments. Neil is also well versed in HMO Management as we are one of the only agencies in Chelmsford which has a specialist HMO and rooms to rent department. Neil is Matthews younger brother and has a son named Michael.
Alex is our newest member of the team, joining us in August 2016 as an apprentice. He lives in the village of Little Waltham, an outstanding natural beauty spot. He enjoys playing the piano and rugby, being both musical and sporty. He is confident he’s going to learn and understand the general business here at CDC, taking the company as far as it will go and succeeding within it.
He has settled in extremely well and already has a great rapport with our clients. Alex’s customer service is superior for someone so young, we can only imagine how quickly he’ll pick up the rest of the business.
Dan was born in Hackney in 1974 and was raised in Bethnal Green by his Nan and Grandad. He moved to the country (Romford!) when he was 11, and stayed until he was 22. He has lived in Romford, Brentwood, Chafford Hundred and Benfleet……and is about to move to Southchurch. Dan spent the first 25 years of his working life in the Oil & Gas industry, travelling to some incredible places. When he turned 41 Dan decided to make a move to the property industry, which he has been interested in for years.
He lives with his wonderful girlfriend Steph and her three year old daughter Eva. He also has an eight year old daughter called Mia, who he sees very often and FaceTime daily! His Labradoodle Bailey completes the family (and gets treated better than he does according to Dan!)
Dan will be covering the South of Essex for Charles David Casson
